Gah, I hate pictures of myself...I've noticed I use essentially the same pose every time I ask someone to take a picture. Seriously, it looks like I'm about to punch the mailbox! What the hell kind of a pose is that?
In any case, the Vatican has its own post office since it's a city separate from Rome itself. The post office has different rates, and won't even mail anything with Roman stamps instead of Vatican ones. This office was in the Vatican Museum. I couldn't resist mailing something, so I sent a postcard to my mom, and asked a kind stranger to take my picture in front of this mailbox. He looked at me like I was insane, but took the picture anyway. |
